Apple and Pear Oatmeal Bake


2x cups of oats

2x cups of milk,

3 tbsp melted butter

3 tbsp ABC mix nut butter

1 Apple (peeled & chopped)

1 Pear (peeled & chopped)

4 tbsp of mixed crushed nuts (we used almonds, pistachios and walnuts)

1 tsp poppy seeds

3 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp baking powder

1 flax ‘egg’.


1. If using flax or chia egg, make this now (1tbsp of seeds + 3tbsp water)

2. In a bowl mix your dry ingredients

3. In a separate bowl mix your wet ingredients

4. Mix wet and dry together then add your fruit

5. Pour into a prepared baking dish and evenly spread out

6. Bake for 30-40 minutes (it’ll be firm to touch and if you poke a knife through it’ll come out clear)

7. Allow to cool then cut.
